At the same time, Ruby and Sun remain, perhaps, some of the most stable «mid-range» heroes — they were always just a little short of getting into the top, and now they are still holding on to the same level, without breaking ahead.
But heroes like Diggie and Chichi may seem controversial — a lot depends on who is on the other side of the barricades. But if you use them against suitable enemies, they can completely change the course of the match.

Without support, such heroes often do not have time to realize their abilities before they are destroyed.
The same is true for Zilong, Alucard, and Bane — they are good, but their effectiveness greatly depends on the balance of your team composition. If allies do not support or do not control the map, these heroes quickly lose their influence on the game.
And characters like Fanny, Eymon, and Gossen are a whole separate league. They have huge damage and mobility, but to play them, you need to not just press buttons, but literally live in the game. These heroes do not forgive mistakes and are not suitable for those who play a couple of matches a day.

Argus, Xavier and Aldous are the strongest fighters closer to the late game, but they are highly dependent on the pace of the game and are easily countered at a high level. And heroes like Clint and Paquito require almost flawless skill: without excellent mechanics, they are of little use.
If you choose one of them, be ready to adapt to the pace of the game and be able to read the enemy.

D-tier heroes are the ones you should only use as a last resort. They usually only become relevant when a counterpick is needed for a very specific situation — and even that happens very rarely. For example, heroes like Lancelot, Granger, or Lee Sun-sin can only be played with strong team support and provided that the player knows their mechanics very well. Without serious experience, these heroes will most likely cause more problems than they are worth.
For most mid-skill players, heroes of this tier are too dependent on external conditions and perform poorly in regular matches. In addition, it is easy to find effective counters against them, which makes them even less attractive. There are exceptions — Khufra and Fovius, who are often picked against heroes with dashes — but in general, D-tier heroes have one of the lowest popularity rates in Mobile Legends.
